Dr. Ramsay and the rest of the team at Evans Street Dental couldn’t be happier that you’re considering us as your new dental home. In order to make the new patient process as smooth as possible, please take a moment to learn about the next steps you’ll need to take. You’ll find information on financing your care, what to expect during the first visit, and necessary forms to fill out.
Before you arrive, we ask that you call us at least 48 hours ahead of time and provide us with any dental insurance information you already have. This gives us a chance to pre-determine your insurance benefits and make sure they are maximized when you do use them. We also ask that you provide us with any previous dental history you have so we can request X-rays from your dentist beforehand. When you first arrive, you’ll be met with a warm welcome and we’ll perform full X-rays, complete a thorough exam, and develop a personalized treatment plan as needed.
With dental insurance, you can get many of your most basic treatments completed at a reduced cost. We are also happy to accept most dental insurances, and file claims on your behalf, and make sure that you fully understand your benefits. We’ll also perform pre-determination of your benefits so that there are no surprises when it comes time to use your insurance for care.
Are you trying to get certain treatments covered that do not fall under your current insurance plan’s coverage? Don’t have insurance at all? With third-party financing companies like CareCredit, it’s easy to break your treatment costs into more manageable chunks, so you don’t have to go without treatment that you need to maintain good oral health. These payments often carry little to no interest, making dental care even more affordable.
One of the most effective ways we can get to know your dental needs better is through detailed new patient forms. By downloading, printing, and filling out your new patient form ahead of your appointment, you actually make your first visit more efficient overall. You can also find forms on our privacy and financial policies as well as your medical and dental history form. If you have additional questions, you can call us directly or save them for when you arrive.
