While digital X-rays are very detailed, sometimes other treatments require a bit more information before they can be completed. With a CT/cone beam scanner, we can capture a 3D cross-section of your mouth, jaw, teeth, bone tissue, and many other areas of interest as part of your treatment planning. For example, if you needed to have dental implants placed or your TMJ examined for problems, the CT/cone beam scanner plays an integral role in this process!

Digital Scanner

Fortunately, here at Evans Street Dental, gone are the days of traditional putty impressions. Instead, we avoid the mess and discomfort and use a digital scanner to collect all the data we need. With this new technology, there is much less room for error, which means you won’t need to come in again just to take impressions. In a matter of minutes, we can scan the inside of your mouth with this instrument and create custom restorations and appliances that fit you perfectly.
